What does framing look like over the course of 12 days and 562 man hours using a time lapse? In this video, Matt Risinger answers that question. While the film shows framing, there's actually a lot of pre-construction architecture has gone on in advance. For this house, 13 trucks were loaded with pre-fab pieces. On site, a total of five carpenters putting the house together. There are pre-insulated SIPS panels, ZIP sheathing that is already fully taped. Once at the site, it's only a few days before the home was 100% weather tight and fully air sealed and insulated. Check out the video and see how rapidly the home comes together, even if time-lapse photography had not been used.
