That’s right!! In this video we look at a recently completed project with Jake Bruton where we eliminated the concrete slab from the slab floor assembly. It is a very interesting detail where the floor is literally floated on the ground. From the interior of the house, it is business as usual. You would never know what does? Or what DOESN”T? lie beneath the hardwood flooring. Not only does the concrete get eliminated, but the floor has a continuous, “FULLY THERMALLY BROKEN”, floor assembly. Of course “Big Red” joins in and offers a great explanation as we explore the details of this floor assembly. As for the industry, this details had certainly provided a new line of thinking in terms of floor assemblies. Get comfortable, and enjoy the video…….Long Live Our Buildings
