Home Multi-Generational Home on a Budget: Episode 6 - MEP Rough

With two separate units going into this build, the mechanicals aren't as straight forward as a typical house. We first meet with Mark of MAK Electric to go over his top-down approach to the electricals before getting a closer look at the efficient plumbing anatomy with Wayne Fostin of Wayne Fostin Heating and Plumbing. Next Brett shows us some of the HVAC considerations that go into this home that is often a tight squeeze. Brett and Steve go over how they optimized space and efficiency while navigating other obstacles like the moment frame dissecting the ceiling trusses and duct systems. We then return to meet with Victoria and Mohammed of Bosch Home Comfort to discuss some of the specific equipment like the GreenTronic 7000 water heater and the IDS Premium Connect that are helping Brett's home maintain peak performance and efficiency, but also amazing customer service.
