Home Steam Humidification: What is it and How to Achieve it

From the earliest stages of our build we want to control the enivronment: dry out the wood, control relative humidity and moisture content, make sure the flooring and millwork has acclimated to the humidity in the house, and ultimately set ourselves up for good quality future installations on the home.

Wood is going to move by nature. It will absorb moisture, so anything we can do to maintain that will help promote longevity.

One way to maintain that is to intoroduce humidification in the Winter months and dehumidification in the Summer months. Wade and Lou introduce a handy product that can handle the humidification of the entire house. Check it out.
